Customizing modal loader

I wanna do some customization on the modal's loading overlay, like adding some text under the loader, or change background of it. Is there an easy way of doing this from the configuration, instead of modifying it thru CSS? Basically i just wanna make certain modal looks unique than the rest, so i dont want to touch the css file, which basically will affect all the other modals too.
