User Impersonation?

In our B2B application, often we need to impersonate a user. Is the way to do this , in a general sense, in Lucia just to have the backend look up a particular user, get their session or create one, and then store that as cookie in the browser for the user doing the impersonating? Seems pretty simple, but not sure if I'm thinking about it correctly. Thanks.
