Support Confluent Schema Registry with KafkaJsonSchemaSerializer

Using the JSON codec to output into a Kafka topic, the JSON string is generated automatically from the object that has been built up by grok filters, or whatever. It seems like this could easily register the schema in Confluent Schema Registry and be able to use KafkaJsonSchemaSerializer to better fit in with data governance requirements. Is there any interest in this feature?
