Editor Component is visible but tools are not activated

First I want to say a very big thank you to the good people behind this project.

Here the problem I am having.

I am trying to use the plugin in a nuxtjs project and it was not working. At first I thought it has something to do with the plugin setup in nuxtjs. But it appears not because I tried using plain Vue project on sandbox.io and the same problem still crops up.

Please kindly take a moment to look at my setup on sandbox.io, I am not exactly sure what the problem is thank.
