https://deeplx.owo.network/install/

It looks empty inside.

It would be better to make it something that scans local files and translates subtitles.

I tried running it with docker on Synology nas.

I've removed some details to keep them private for you, thank you for the extensive report though. the mapping section is only if regular mapping docker volume doesn't suffice, It's not for indexing media, indexing media is done via Sonarr and Radarr. For the series to be indexed you will need to setup the integrations under /settings/integration did you set that up?

I will have a look into DeepLx

Thanks for your quick response. I don't use radarr or sonarr. I download the anime manually and export the subtitle files. I think it would be great if it would work by scanning the directory without sonarr or radarr. It would reach more people and be more useful.

deeplx x uses the same queries as deepl, only manually adding the deepl API URL address will be sufficient.

Everything is the same, only the URL is different.

I kindly ask you to develop the application so that it can work outside of Sonarr and Radarr. There will be people who want to pay a small annual fee for such an application :) If you integrate Deeplx into the application, it will be perfect.

We can provide unlimited free translations as long as the necessary controls are met via proxy.

Rotate proxy feature can be added to webshare.io 250 proxies + 250 GB for only $2 per month so you get almost unlimited translation feature.

It will be very easy to use for amateur users like me and I am sure that it will be an indispensable application for those who archive many movies, anime series.

Thank you. ❤️

Currently I am using a DeepL package that sorts out everything (i.e. switching between free and paid) thus changing the endpoint is a little more work, but it's a good idea, I will have a look into it. I will have a look into a more customizable setup overal.

Sadly the Sonarr integration is a little more intrusive as it helps Lingarr in creating the overview and structure. What you can do is spin up a Sonarr instance without download and just let it collect your library, the out of the box setup shouldn't have a negative effect. A future feature that I am debating is a drag and drop translation, where you can just drop a subtitle in the app.

As for subtitles, I noticed you are using the ass format, I am sorry to say that only srt is currently supported but ass is planned.

Overall, a bit of a disappointing answer for your setup. Sorry.

Thank you for your kind response. Maybe future developments will be as I imagined, so I will be following you with excitement. Thank you.
