App can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software... #124

That's because the app is not signed.
Just open a terminal and run: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/QuickRecorder.app/

There is nothing that the developer can do, except to pay $100/year to Apple!
