One thing I know about beforeunload events is that they are cancelled by chrome if the user hasn't made any gesture on the page.(More details on this here) But when I redirect to a game on lichess from the home page, and then try to close/reload the page, it shows me the alert even if I hadn't made any interaction. How is lichess able to bypass this requirment? If it's of any help, my current browser is Chrome Version 88.0.4324.190.
