Embed questions - direct PGN via GET request + shortlink duration

This is a repost of a Community Forum thread I made yesterday, I think this is probably a more accurate place for these questions.

I had two questions about lichess embeds which are discussed here:

(by the way these features are incredible)

1. If I save an analysis for embedding I get a shortlink that references the analysis, for example:
   lichess.org/embed/PbqEtOqh

What is the retention period for PdqEtOqh? It's kept forever? I know that games are, but these would be from the analysis board without a game having been played by a lichess account.

2. Is it possible to directly put PGN into an embed? For example if I had an existing website with PGN entries in a database could I create a base64 encoded version of the PGN, put it in the URL and have lichess generate the analysis board on the fly for my embed?

My secondary idea if using PGN in a URL isn't possible is to use the API to go through the games I have and create studies/analysis boards with them and then embed the resulting shortlink, but this is a bit clunky compared to directly using the data I have on-hand. Still cool though! Again the embed feature is already very very excellent.
