Feature request: Friction option with Grab-and-Drag scrolling

I would like an option to have the scrolling gradually slow down (speed decreases linearly at a configurable rate) after releasing the middle mouse button with Grab-and-Drag scrolling.

Background (i.e. Why I want this):
I currently use the Grab and Drag addon, but it was last updated in 2013 and isn't under active maintenance, so I'm looking for an alternative for when it stops working in the future (e10s). Mouse Gestures Suite is the only other Firefox addon that I could find that provides Grab-and-Drag scrolling, and friction is the only thing missing from Mouse Gestures Suite to completely replace the Grab and Drag addon for me.
