This is a LEAP Data and Computation Team weekly standup 🎉🎉🎉!
This is a way to share feedback from the past cycle, set goals for the next work cycle and coordinate work with others in the group.

Each member should aim to put down 2-3 goals going into the meeting. We then try to discuss how to best align activities around the group to facilitate collaboration as much as possible.

• Apologies for just dipping out for travel. I think it was a worthwile trip though 😆

User Interactions/Concerns

• The sign up script is broken!
• 2i2c will actually implement user quotas on the Filestore. We need to do some cleanup before!

Cycle Review 🔎

• Got some new CMIP6 data (almost entirely ingested) [REQUEST]: HighResMIP sea-ice dataset cmip6-leap-feedstock#180
• Started Deprecating some repos to reduce maintenance burden (https://github.com/jbusecke/cookiecutter-science-project)
• Worked on a way to ingest single file datasets with pangeo forge ([WIP] Accomodate single file recipes pangeo-forge/pangeo-forge-recipes#783)

My goals for the two upcoming weeks 💪

• Bunch of CMIP6 related stuff
• Roll our kbatch and user quotas with 2i2c

Questions for the group ❓

• @norlandrhagen can you take a look if this version bump PR looks good to you?
• Can we set up a timeline for the data migration? I have started a tracking issue.

• Uhhhg, so apache-beam currently has a hard dep on numpy <2. Might be updated in 2.62.0?
• Ran CHIRPS with single worker. Stuck on GroupByKey step in rechunk...
