Environment

Joplin version: Joplin 2.6.10 (prod, darwin)

Platform: MacOS
OS specifics: 12.1 Monterey M1

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enter search string in search bar
  2. The string is not highlighted in rich markup editor ( It's highlighted in markdown editor only )

Describe what you expected to happen

The string is highlighted in rich markup editor

This may be related to this issue. Words are not highlighted when using wildcards.
The first screenshots shows the word correctly highlighted in the markup section, but not in the rendered section.

I'm using the Joplin Portable on Windows 10
Joplin 2.7.14 (prod, win32)
Sync Version: 3
Profile Version: 41
Keychain Supported: No

Revision: 75cc9d7

i am seeing the same behavior on the latest version.

I have the same issue for mac Joplin 2.13.13 (prod, darwin) version.

  1. when on markdown mode, i can see the highlights on both markdown and render;
  2. when on render mode, no highlights at all.
