Description (what is the goal of this issue)

Have a clear documentation of everything related to the lambdaspace network.

Action items

Document:

  • Networking equipment (in use and idle). This should also help @AEtherC0r3 with Create inventory list #5
  • Existing network setup (Incl. wiring, eth outlets and switches), a layout of the space would help (if we have/can get one)
  • Suggested network configurations

Links/resources

As per @alexdor 's recommendation we cound use cidrblock/drawthe.net for visually documenting current and suggested network layouts.

Created a current layout of Lambdaspace's network. No outlets/cabling since no layout of the space was provided.

The above graph was created using the tool referenced above ( http://go.drawthe.net ) and the yaml configuration is located in the following gist:

Once the structure of the documentation repo is ready we can move the code from the gist.
