Feature request: Suport visual option to select from/to "Any date" in date range picker

Sometimes a user may only want to define a start or end date. Especially for filtering. The date range picker now requires user to select both unless manually entered.

@perchristian isn't it possible to use a picker without range and label the field accordingly?

this one is from one of my other projects.. it allow the user to pick "up to" a certain date.
