how to configure external mongodb and Minio storag

Can we configure external mongodb and minio istead of a default installation which comes along with testkube instalation .
If yes , Can have a documentation for same so to follow and learn

Yes, it's possible.
Should not be very difficult, you just need provide some parameters for Testkube hlem chart

For Mongo

1. Install mongo somewhere
2. install testkube with --set mongo.enabled=false
3. Set mongoURI in api-server helm values with valid connection string

For Minio:

1. Provide AWS credentials and s3 aws uri in Helm chart

Hi @vsukhin Thanks for information.

Its a ssl enabled external db . Can you please share how we can pass cert file for connection .
Getting below error while doing connection.
Type: Unknown, Last error: connection() error occurred during connection handshake: x509: certificate signed by unknown authority }, ] }, context: null;
resp error:an error on the server ("unknown") has prevented the request from succeeding (post services testkube-api-server:8088))

Hi @vsukhin it will really help full if you can provide some step to configure external configuration along with passing cert file .

So, at the moment we don't have support for mongo client with TLS connection. it will require to pass certs during Testkube installation or secret references (which is better). Feel free to create new issue for feature-request
