Hello, Kris!

Let me quote, what I've just pushed to my cantango_editor repository.

What I suggest is that you could do the same for cantango itself. My main concern - the folks who are new to Rails and who waste their development time trying to setup/understand cantango. I would not post such request if we could help them, but now having cantango abandonded why not just provide those folks with a 2013 status update about recommendations like following below?

Thanks.

Warning to folks who are newcomers to Ruby/Rails (November 2, 2013)

People, don't use cantango_editor, don't even consider using it!

Also don't use cantango and don't even consider using it!

As a second cantango developer I claim that:

  1. Cantango is very unstable and it is by no means can be considered production-ready.
  2. Even if it was stable, it would still recommend against using it because during four months of heavy development in the summer of 2011 it eventually became a very over-engineered project.
  3. Cantango is abandoned by both of its authors: Kristian Mandrup and
    Stanislaw Pankevich.

Think twice, if you do really need so complex role system for your Rails
app! If you do, think twice again and consider implementing this
complexity using just classic CanCan approach.

OK, sure. Sounds reasonable! I'm not even doing Rails any more. I'm now on Sails and AngularJS with BaconJS and Socket.IO...

Kris, though I am not insisting on it, would you mind also adding this to Cantango README so we could be even more straightforward about this discontinuation?
