As the title says, many of us want reliable guarantees around queries and mutations that we can reason about meaningfully.
The fact that, when a nested mutation fails you end up in an unrecoverable state is not something I want to think about.

Keystone should provide me with the tools to resolve this.

This has been asked about before, but not in the framing of a Feature Request (#7642).
