As far as I know
locale -a
returns results in the formC.utf8
,en_US.utf8
, etc notC.UTF-8
, at least it does on the machines I have access to. This means that the check for non-printable characters invalidate_data_dir.sh
fails on any system that doesn't have theen-US.UTF-8
locale installed.
