I love BirdNET and use it quite a bit on my acoustic files. However, due to the amount of files I have to analyze I have to store them on a remote server and can't use BirdNET there due to computing issues. I was wondering if there was any chance you are thinking about including an "analyze remote files" feature?
A solution I have found is to use fsspec to process locally files that are stored remotely. I have modified the analyze script and created a birdnetfs repository.
If this is of interest I am happy to improve the birdnetfs repository for future / more seamless use.
