Altherma 3 M - can't change target hot water temperature

I can't seem to change the target temperature of the hot water tank. I effectively want to control when i do the legionella cycle by doing it when electricity is cheap and on my own logic (in Home Assistant).

But I don't appear to be able to change the target temperature of the "Water Heater" entity created by the Onecta Integration. Is this a limitation of the integration? or my config?

Please attach the integration diagnostics, can you change the target temperature in the onecta app?

i'm not very familiar with the Onecta app but i can't see a way to change the temperature (which seems odd)

When you can't change the temperature in the onecta app this integration can't also change it. I think you enabled a schedule on your water heater, try to disable that schedule first in the onecta app.

ah - this sounds sensible. Let me fiddle with the box on the wall - disable schedules. and see if that changes - i'll come back to this thread on that in the next day or so

Do you see a domestic hot water tank schedule selector in HA? I think it should be there in your case, try to select off when it is there

i do, but changing it from "user defined" to "Off" - i get this error message immediately

Failed to call service select/select_option. Communication failed! Status: 400 {"code":"READ_ONLY_CHARACTERISTIC","message":"Characteristic is read-only and therefore can not be set"}

This is complimentary of what the installer said - which is you have to do schedules on the App OR on the connected display.

This is it. I have changed the settings on the unit (device) to "reheat" only (disabling the schedule).
i reloaded the integration, and i can change the hot water set point.

Note. seemingly i can only change the set point when the HAVC mode is not off... but i can work with that.
