Use templating when selecting option for demandControl

Hi, I'm currently playing with this integration and trying to automate my heat pumps by controlling the demand control based on the outside temperature.

As I'm new to HA I'm probably missing something, but I'm not able to setup set demand control option with templating. I want to avoid having multiple conditions based on the actual temperature outside. I would rather have some form of logic to determine what demandControl should be.

Whenever I use templating in the option field I receive a valueError. E.g.

valueError: Option {{ 55 }} not valid for device

Any ideas on how I can achieve this?

demandControl is a string, have you tried "55"?

Yes and it works fine. But shouldn't I be able to use a template that returns a string? E.g. {{ 55 | string }}

Did you find a way to set other values than 90,95,100 ?
I would like to get more granular between 95 and 100 --> 95,96,97,98,99,100
Is that possible and valid for the daikin AC?

I am currently trying to figure out how to automatically adjust the demandcontrol based on Delta-D values ... which might make sense other than outside temps etc.
