Hey folks,

After emceeing the Jupyter Server/Kernels meeting for nearly 5 years, I think it's time (long overdue probably 😅) for me to step aside and let someone else drive these meetings.

In case you were worried, I'm not going anywhere 😉. I still plan to show up to every meeting that I can. The Jupyter Server call is one of my favorite places to hang, but I'd live to give the opportunity for someone else to run these.

If you're interested, but maybe a little intimidated, that's okay too! I'm also happy to co-host for a little while, or alternate weeks with someone until they feel comfortable enough to drive on their own. Just reach out here, or privately over email, and I'm happy to coordinate with you.

It's important to note that hosting meetings is not necessarily a responsibility of the SSC repo. I did both at the same time, and probably shouldn't have. I, personally, think it's better if two different people do these roles, but totally up to the team here.

Thanks for calling this out and helping drive the meetings so far. I can help with this, maybe on a part time basis initially before committing full-time.

Thank you @3coins! That sounds good. Let's discuss during one of the Jupyter Server meetings and make sure you have everything you need to feel comfortable co-leading!
