I started writing Bukkit plugins around 2011 for a friend's server and then created my own Minecraft server in 2016. With my own server, I started learning about Linux, databases, and Docker, which allowed me to containerize servers on my Minecraft network. Creating Minecraft servers helped me push my knowledge to the limit and learn about different technologies at an early age, so at this point in my life, I'm proud to be proficient in Linux and the most popular relational and non-relational databases.
Due to time and studies, I left most of my Minecraft projects around 2019. At that time, I started studying Informatics Engineering to consolidate my knowledge. Although I kept maintaining some Open Source Projects then, I also started working on an Industrial IoT company in 2022.
Working in the Industrial IoT industry improved my code and solutions to solve problems in a highly demanding environment where nanosecond time matters. We processed thousands of metrics in real-time for our clients. My knowledge and ability helped me get a tech lead position on my team to lead the migration of some on-premise solutions to a new in-house developed cloud solution.
I left the Industrial IoT industry to pursue new opportunities in a background-checking company. I joined a web scraping team, where I maintain and monitor production web scrapers and research bypass techniques for advanced WAF providers like Akamai, Imperva, and Cloudflare. I've also made many proposals for enhancements to the company's internal processes and tools, some of which are already being implemented.
