[lf, st, X11] Launching lfub sometimes hangs

I have a keybind that launches lfub in st and it sometimes freezes like this:

lf scripts are taken directly from this repo. Installed version ueberzugpp 2.9.6-1 from the AUR

To be clear, launching it again works so this is just a minor nitpick
