In jsPsych v7 and earlier, when I wanted to use the html-button-response like a Likert scale I have added anchors to the html-button-response by editing the plugin file directly, see attach picture. Using empty variables has been very convenient when I wanted to change the anchors mid-way in the study. However, now when upgrading to v8 I see that the plugin file is changed, and I am having a hard time figuring out if it is possible to implement the anchors in the same way as I did before. Is there any way to implement anchors in this way in jspsych v8?
