Is it possible to open links in the same tab, not open a new tab when clicked?

I would like to change the behavior of the links so that it's more in line with how it works commonly.
Like when you click it will just navigate to that page.
But when you ctrl+click it will open the link in a new tab.

Is this possible with some configuration?
