vm_launch while trying to start the hypervisor used to instantly reboot my pc, but using the solution in #42 causes my pc to freeze instead of instantly rebooting. CPU is 11900kf.

it's probably just a me problem, rather than cpu-related problem, since the same thing is happening on my laptop
