Replacing UTF-8 By UTF-8mb4

Do you think replacing UTF-8 By UTF-8mb4 in the /db/install.xml is a good idea? AS the Component field () is not showing a readable code. Or do you think there is another way to get a readable code.

For instance, I have a report from one line "SELECT * FROM prefix_peerwork" but when I extract the config report block table I will get a:1:{s:9:"customsql";a:1:{s:6:"config";O:8:"stdClass":6:{s:8:"querysql";s:31:"SELECT+%2A+FROM+prefix_peerwork";s:8:"courseid";i:28913;s:12:"submitbutton";s:12:"Save+changes";s:16:"reportcategories";s:1:"0";s:17:"reportsincategory";s:1:"0";s:14:"remotequerysql";s:0:"";}}}

I am using Windows and Google Chrome browser, I just need to decode the above cod and have instead "SELECT * FROM prefix_peerwork".
