Describe the bug
When attempting to authorize draw.io on my iPad using Safari, if I select "Remember Me" when authorizing, it gets stuck on a white screen after selecting my account.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to draw.io
  2. Click on '...'
  3. Scroll down to 'Open Library From'
  4. Select 'Google Drive...'
  5. Select the 'Authorize' button. (note that 'remember me' is checked by default)
  6. a message pops up saying 'This sight is attempting to open a pop up window.'
  7. choose 'allow'
  8. select your google account
  9. see a privacy messaging saying something to the effect of: 'By continuing, Google will share your name, email address, language preference, and profile picture with draw.io'
  10. choose 'Continue'
  11. see ANOTHER privacy message saying: 'draw.io already has some access. See the 3 services that draw.io has some access to. Make sure you trust draw.io'
  12. select continue
  13. website attempts to load this website but it's blank: https://app.diagrams.net/connect/office365/drive.html

Expected behavior
Step 13 should show my drive files in a separate window overtop the draw.io website letting me select and open a file

draw.io version (In the Help->About menu of the draw.io editor):

  • draw.io version 24.8.2

Tablet (please complete the following information):

  • Device: iPad Pro 12.9" 5th gen
  • OS: 18.0.1
  • Browser Stock Browser Safari
  • Version iOS 18.0.1 (safari is directly tied to the os version)

I tested the problem in incognito/private mode with all browser extensions switched off, write "yes" below:

  • yes

Additional context
I was able to use the website on iOS 18.0.1 for a while but it stopped working a couple days ago. I think Monday 10/21/2024. I can use chrome but it doesn't appear too compatible. Double clicking isn't friendly on the iPad.

Under privacy and security for Safari my settings are

  • prevent cross site tracking = YES (toggled this and it didn't help)
  • Hide IP Address = from trackers (toggled Off and didn't help)
The others don't look pertinent (Require Face ID to Unlock Private Browsing, Fraudulent Website Warning, and Highlights)

Under advanced:

  • block all cookies = NO
  • Privacy preserving Ad Measurement = OFF (toggling ON didn't help)

I've also tried another Gmail account and it doesn't work either. Incognito didn't help but I still tried clearing all browser data and it didn't fix it
