Though it could highlight the annotations, but I can't list them out. Is it a bug or I miss something?

Thanks for your question.
I maintain the extension, but as I didn't write it nor know the internals of VSCode well, I mostly just integrate PRs from others.
Sadly in this case I don't use either Remote servers, or the list mechanism, so I can't help. I'm marking this as 'help wanted'.
