This to essentially overcome the spam issue that just occured as I need to use Jenkins for my Devops project.

Hi @krishsurinmims , there is no need to create an account on accounts.jenkins.io to use Jenkins locally.
accounts.jenkins.io is only for the *.jenkins.io websites such as the JIRA issue tracker or contributors.

As such, I'm closing this issue. Feel free to reopen if you still want an account: in that case please describe what is the use case (e.g. which *.jenkins.io website do you need the account for)?
