Bump to standalone library?

Hello! I've been considering writing a JS library for custom date times similar to what this plugin does for use in my plugin Timelines (Revamped). I had a user create an issue that says he uses this plugin to create custom calendars but would like to use that calendar on my timeline.

As far as I'm aware, that's not possible due to the library I use to render the timeline (visjs/vis-timeline). I came here to wonder if there would be any interest in lifting the plugin into a full-blown library so that other people can use it outside of Obsidian.

I've done a fair bit of research and I don't think there's currently anything that does what I'm describing. Thoughts?
