Thanks. I'll comment later on today or tomorrow. Just as quick reminder, the Jamulus team is not related to KOORD and I assume we both strive to be independent but cooperative meaning we will not advertise KOORD in preference to e.g Melomax |

Hello to the global Jamulus community from Koord!
I just wanted to announce a little news from Koord.Live that may interest Jamulus devs and users, and some upcoming changes that might be of PR-interest to upstream.
We have a few PRs open already but are looking to make more significant contributions in the future. We are always wanting to push any critical bugfixes or improvements upstream, so please alert us here on our issues page if there's something you notice in our app that could be useful and that I haven't PR'd yet.
KoordASIO
In particular I would like to mention the latest version of our open-source universal ASIO driver, KoordASIO - which is intended to wean the Windows world off the terrible affliction that is ASIO4ALL :)
Github repo: https://github.com/koord-live/KoordASIO
Download from Microsoft Store: https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/koordasio-universal-driver/XP9CSS6NZBDV21
It includes the latest improvements from the upstream FlexASIO and PortAudio projects and provides the best and easiest way (IMO) for Windows users to use their generic hardware with ASIO, while benefiting from both WASAPI Shared and Exclusive Modes.
The GUI configurator is (I hope) intuitive and effective in setting safe, low-latency configurations.
Windows users, please give it a go and tell us what you think!
I previously raised this in an earlier discussion here, and would be interested if Jamulus users and devs could report their experiences with it (and generate issues on our page if need be) - early testers are already coming back with positive stories!
As I mentioned previously, this could easily be integrated into Jamulus as an "internal ASIO" option in the dropdown list - with the same configuration options provided seamlessly in the Jamulus client as are in the KoordASIO control GUI.

Otherwise, on the client app side, these are the changes we've made at Koord which could be of interest to Jamulus devs (& users):
Of course, please give the Koord app a try for your private sessions (or for whatever you like) and feel free to bombard us with bug reports and improvement suggestions!
