3.9.0 Code freeze imminent / 3.8.2 Nightly 4 available

In the next few days - likely before next weekend - we'll be declaring a code freeze for 3.9.0. It's quite a big release, certainly warranting the version bump!

I've already detagged a number of issues and PR from the release on the basis they appear to have gone stale. If you still think these can be ready this week, please raise it with one of the @jamulussoftware/maindevelopers. Most of them moved over to release 3.9.1.

In the mean time, we're also planning a series of pre-releases, starting with a second "nightly" (yeah, we have long days between our nights - the first one was back in March). That's available as Release 3.8.2 Nightly 2.

We're trying to get the last couple of changes into the release but that's meant some slippage in the plan, so that we don't have to rush things. The current dates are:
