Using java 11 is very inconvenient. You can add support for java 17.0... or later.

Java is generally backwards compatible, so (in theory) you can use any Java version 11 or newer (which includes Java 17).

If you run into specific issues, feel free to open an issue (after searching the existing/closed issues) with logs and debug output.
