It would be highly preferable for Anterius not to run as the 'root' user.

Anterius currently requires root permission to execute Kea server start/stop operation commands.
This feature is hence currently only supported for a local server, we plan to change this method if this feature is introduced via the Control Agent API in a future Kea release.

A helper setuid utility should be used in such case.
