Feature description

It would be convenient if we could allow for a varying decimal precision approach, eg add a variable on dataset that contains the decimal precision level we would like to use.

I think there are already ways to do this with custom format functions. I wrote in {tern} an auto format that does estimate automatically needed precision from data precision. That could be a good starting point ;)
