Coming soon as part of a sitepoint article, and to be integrated shortly afterwards.

Supports images (naturally), loading of data and custom handling.

This is mostly done pending a sitepoint article, which will come first.

It's up if anyone fancies taking it on! Not a big deal, just a little bit of compat code to handle IE8/9.
