The goal of the Kurator project is to develop an extensible, open source toolkit for automated and semi-automated workflows, data curation components, etc. Integration with iDigBio could include data quality improvements and annotation generation, where data would be read from iDigBio and annotations would be fed back into iDigBio.

Could anyone offer up more information on the feature set of Kurator as well as maybe a medium level overview of the basic process for how it achieves change tracking ( does it use a SCM tool at it's core? or something similar ) and some of the goals for the integration with iDigBio?
Are there specific areas in the project on github I should familiarize with to expedite progress during the hackathon?
