Need "Check Model" functionality

Certainly there is iteration involved in developing a data set and getting it to execute (much less with realistic results). However, for common items, it would be helpful if, prior to downloading, there were a method to check the model for simple items. Things like:

• "(demname) specified as demand commodity, but no demand value has been specified"
• "Period Demand Values applied to demname, but no process produces it"

And so on. What would this look like? A button? An "always aware" icon indicating the data passes/fails basic checks?
