I realized that this could not be done by just converting.
I think I can do it by making the original image non-transparent while creating a mask on the pixels with transparency 1, and then after changing the color, etc., using the mask I created to set the areas of the original image that had transparency 1 to transparency 1 again.
By setting the output file as PNG, it would be possible to keep the transparency information of transparent PNGs.
Currently, images with transparency have lost transparency.
