Hi,
so I'm experiencing some kind of issue with the nodes not being able to change how they look. Pic rel you can see that the hue is changed (Via the plugin) but the nodes are looking the same. I'm pretty new to UE5 so I'd appreciate information on if I should attach any logs and if so, which ones. Cheers!:)

Hello and sorry for that.

That's weird... Could you please take a screenshot of the Edit/Editor Preferences/Darker Nodes panel?

It feels like it's not activated 🤔...

Sure thing! Here are the screenshots you requested - I tried playing with some settings, especially tried turning on and off some customization settings along with clicking the fix missing elements and reloading texture resources, but to no avail.

I was previously using Flat Nodes and it did work, but lately I've been going thru some of my screenshots and saw that even before the switch to Darker Nodes, I might've either disabled/removed it or adding some plugins (possible incompatibility?) made changing design of the nodes impossible.
(I will check on a fresh project after the shaders finish compiling lol)

It will be helpful if you could check on a fresh new project. What version of the engine are you using?

Also, I can assist you with this problem if you're on Discord.

Hm, it seems I might've been right about that plugin incompat., here's a screenshot from a fresh project... That on one hand definitely makes me relieved by a bit, on the other hand... not really lmao

We surely can go on discord, you can either add me (tajemniktv [#3747, not sure if it's still used]) or you can drop your name. Tho now it might be more of a witch hunt for the conflicting plugin:p

As for the engine version: I'm on a custom 5.3.2 (Coffee Stain Studios version)

Hum, it's weird, I didn't hear about any plugin incompatible with Darker Nodes 🤔...
And the way it works shouldn't conflict with anything...

I suggest trying to add plugins on the new project until it doesn't work anymore, but yeah, it's more a witch hunt 😕. If you manage to find the culprit, I'll try to assist you to fix it. If I can't fix it, I'll reimburse you.

Btw, I searched you on the Unreal Source (The biggest Discord community of Unreal developers) but I couldn't find you, so I couldn't send you an invitation. Here it is: https://discord.unrealsource.com/

My username is hugoattal.

THE Coffe Stain Studios? Behind Satisfactory? Guys, I'm so in love with your game, my girlfriend is jealous.

Yo, there's an incompatibility with Starship Editor Style Overrider. I'm not sure how I missed that, must've either downloaded it by accident or I don't even know lol

Thank you kindly for the invite, I was not aware of such a community!

And yes, the engine is from THE Coffee Stain Studios, sadly I'm only a newbie poor modder, but it's so cool to see other Satisfactory players in the wild! lmao

Since the culprit has been found, I'm not sure whether you wish to keep the issue open, until you decide whether it's doable or just close it now, so I leave it as it is for now
