Thanks for trying this out. Please note that the plugin is still pre-release, although I consider it stable enough now that I am using it on two clients' sites, and another in the pipeline.

There's a configuration section of the README with options, including a very important note:

Because this plugin requires a developer to set it up, creating Admin blueprints is a low priority enhancement. Please edit the YAML instead.

I also recommend reading the entire Usage section there because there is much more to make this work than simply configuring the plugin options. Those docs are comprehensive but still pretty rough.

Where GitSync claims to require almost no technical expertise and offers to hold the site owner's hand, in its current state this plugin is the opposite. I believe that in future we can and should develop a lot more help (#18 for example) for site administrators somewhere in the middle.

I think I will keep this issue open as a placeholder for an administration interface.
