The Module:

  • must be able to convert all GuestOrders to Customers by scheduling an unscheduled cron task.
  • must always prevent an outgoing notification to the Customer while the GuestOrder is being converted to a Customer.
  • must always send the guest templates for order/invoice/shipment/creditmemo notification.
  • must be able to link GuestOrders to a Customer based on a GuestOrder e-mail address.

The Merchant:

  • must recognize Shadow Customers visually in the Admin Customer/Order Grid/Edit page.
