In order to have a consistent link tracking methodology, the components and the links should follow the Adobe Analytics documentation described here.
So, a component should have the possibility to add/edit the value that will be fetched by Analytics as the Link Region and a link from that component to have the possibility to add/edit a value that will be fetched by Analytics as the Primary ID.

@astoicescu-bd and me decided to move this ticket to "post go-live", for the reason that component/block tracking is currently not instrumented.
