Why does Latent mode increases the quality of my image?

Hello. I have a question. I have been using this extension for doing some small tricks with SD generation. However, I have noticed when I'm using latent mode, the quality of a LoRA increases significantly, but it also increases a lot the generation time. I would like to know if this should be happening, or if there is a way to replicate the LoRA quality obtained with the latent mode without incrementing generation time.
