@layneam @kcoronel Taking the liberty of moving this issue to the In Progress column. Noting that this is related to issue #475 and may be combined at some point in future.

  • Presentation purpose = to introduce BallotNav to new project joiners & potential partners
  • Explanation of the project first iteration (Covid affecting mail-in ballots)
  • User personas
  • Competitive landscape & how BallotNav is different
  • Outline:
  1. Historical project to date: Problem statement, personas, walkthrough of the product with screens, important decisions made, how the product worked & who did what (volunteers validating data), problems encountered
  2. Hypothesis: Problem Statement, Personas
  3. What we're doing to validate our assumptions
  • @kcoronel will message Layne & Drew to get a demo/live BallotNav instance with dummy data for us to play with

Have updated this slide from the competitive analysis: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/16RGUkf9HvLXTtItgEYtvMRgcGOrFlKKEatRWlkc25O0/edit#slide=id.g11a74331d08_0_430
Could use some clarification on some of the items in the competitive analysis (blank cells) + demo/explainer from Drew re: some BallotNav features that might not appear in the NJ demo on the website, e.g. felony restrictions, ballot request deadlines, etc?

@kcoronel on Results slide no.11 could use your input. I know for example Drew said he was trying to validate dropoff location data manually, so I think at least qualitatively there must be something there? Any quotes from previous BallotNav team members? Also no.12 challenges + learning slide, and anything else you think should go in?

In today's (28 Mar) PM meeting will ask if UX researchers have any thoughts on next steps for the project and problem definition so we can move toward completing problem statement, goals, + solutions on slides 15-16.
