Installing from source on a production node makes little sense and is not very automatable. It would be awesome to have packages (dpkg, rpm) pushed to the "official" GlusterFS repositories to allow easier installation.

This repo is not maintained for long time. Do you want to give https://github.com/kadalu/gluster-metrics-exporter a try? Happy to fix the issues if any.
