This should probably be caught in ODK Validate.

Attached form, when processed and you step to the next event twice, will cause a NullPointer exception.

If you run it using the javarosa-pending tree with Clayton's latest refactoring, it is at:

FormDef: line 1177 (where there's a TODO to fix that line).
