Some note on the build system.
There is the is the Makefile in lpzrobot root folder that ochestrates the installation process,
but all subcomponentens have there own independent build system.
overall configuration is done via "make conf". It calls createMakefile.conf.sh which asks for prefix and stuff and
- calls configure of the subcomponents
- creates the Makefiles for the simulations from Makefile.4sim.m4 in {selforg/simulations,ode_robots/simulations,ode_robots/examples ....}
The configure scripts also create (using the m4 macro processor) the xx-config shell scripts
that provide the compiler flags and installation prefix.
These scripts have to be installed into the binary directory (in $PATH).
This is done by "make preinstall".
So if you want to change a compiler flag or add a dependent lib,
for instance to selforg then edit the selforg/selforg-config.m4
and call "make conf" and "make preinstall" again.
These scripts are called from the simulation makefiles, such that only rarely changes to these Makefiles have to be made now. If nevertheless the case edit the Makefile.4sim.m4 (see above).
