Motivação:
a imagem do cadeado aberto ou fechado na nossa homepage só renderiza se estiver com o endereço em HTTP. Usar a URL da imagem em HTTPS faz o mediawiki não renderizar a imagem (deve ser alguma configuração).

Eu gostaria de entender quais as implicações disso em termos de segurança e privacidade.
